1. Christmas Dinner
Out of the kindness of her heart, a single mom decided to invite some singletons to a Christmas dinner at home as it can get quite lonely this time of the year. One friend promised she would come with her two sons, who eat a feast.
So, the host spent a long time preparing the delicious spread on her own, only to get a last-minute call from her friend saying she had a better offer and couldn’t come. But that’s not all: Next Christmas, she even had the guts to hint that she wanted to be invited again.
2. The Thanksgiving Turkey
One person recalls a family Thanksgiving when his mom and dad decided to host a whopping sixty people. The mom worked hard all day, setting up everything, cooking, cleaning, and doing all the chores before the guests arrived, while the dad got food made from a contractor.
When the day ended, everyone was about to leave, but this particular guest packed all the white meat and rushed out the door without leaving any for the host.
3. Dirty Guests
This story is simply nasty on every level. A woman spoke about how her husband’s niece had a layover between her flights, so she wanted a place to stay before heading to the airport again. Since the couple wasn’t home, they left the niece with the keys.
When they returned two days later, they found a foul-smelling mattress, which they had to replace, wet towels in a puddle right in the middle of the washroom, and their kitchen looked like it suffered nothing less than a hurricane. A year later, the niece had the guts to ask for the place again, but the couple just told her they couldn’t afford another new mattress.
4. Always Late to the Party
When a close friend got married, one person decided to host a dinner for her and her husband as a treat. The guy prepared a full three-course meal with delicious steaks, veggies, and decadent dessert. After waiting an hour, he called his friend, who claimed that her husband was going to get ready.
Even though the host was fuming, when the guests finally arrived, they didn’t even apologize. The husband proceeded to say, “My baked potato is overcooked.” This was his last straw, and he never invited them over again.
5. The Random Stranger
Walking into the house, the owner saw a woman sitting on the countertop, eating a tub full of ice cream from the freezer as she’d never had any before. Apparently, the owner’s half-brother had sent a random woman to do their laundry at this house.
Even after sternly asking the stranger to leave, the woman kept gobbling it down while using nasty words that should never be uttered. The owner called 911 after her behavior, which then caused the woman to finally sprint out.
6. Horrible Sisters
This next story is a heart-wrenching one that will leave you shocked at how cruel people can be. When a mother of two passed away, leaving her husband and kids behind, her sister stayed with the family but for all the wrong reasons.
She took tons of personal items belonging to the woman, would leave their place in the morning, and come back late at night while the rest of the people were in mourning. Talk about no humanity.
7. Don’t Be Hospitable
On a visit to her old hometown, a woman met some ladies she hadn’t seen in a while. When she told them about her horses, they were super excited and wanted to visit. So, the following day, the woman went to the stable to feed and groom them early for the visitors who were coming.
After waiting for hours there, no one showed up. The woman inquired what had happened, to which she got a dry reply saying, “Oh, we forgot.”
8. Unwanted Visitor
A person recalls her experience all the way back to when she was young. Her so-called friend agreed to pay her $400 to stay in her apartment for a couple of months. What ended up happening was that the roommate changed her statement, ultimately saying she’d only pay $200 since she wasn’t there half of the day, yet all her stuff was splattered across the house.
After giving her several deadlines to provide the money, the person decided to throw her stuff out. The funny thing is that the “friend’ came back months later and got mad about it.
9. Baby Shower
Baby showers are special events that welcome new life into the world. A woman decided to host one for her best friend. The guest list also included someone they didn’t really like, but they didn’t want her to feel excluded, so they called her anyway.
So, this friend first came very late, then proceeded to ask for food and fruits, almost like she was talking to a waiter. She then gobbled it down and stomped out of the house, saying she was busy and had to be somewhere. Sounds embarrassing.
10. Watch What You Say
At a house party hosted by some South Americans, a young girl said something idiotic and disrespectful. She announced to the entire group that whenever she hears someone with a Southern accent, she automatically assumes that they are just stupid. People really need to learn when to keep their mouths shut.
11. Leave the Dog Alone
A young boy and his grandmother came to visit some relatives who owned a sweet dog. The dog was just enjoying his chew toy while sitting on the mat when the boy kicked it out of its mouth.
The hosts corrected the boy, yet he did it over and over until the dog had enough. Ultimately, the dog bit his ankle, causing his grandmother to make a whole fuss about the “violent” dog.
